GO CYCLONES!

On 10/17 we headed North to Boone and Ames.   We started at the Boone Golf and Country Club, AKA Cedar Pointe Golf Course.   We have visited this course before, and like it.   The front 9 is the old course with older homes and very mature trees.   I don't think the back nine is very old.   Hardly any trees (good for Jim!) and much newer homes.   Jim managed to stay out of the trees on the first hole this trip and had a much better game than last time.   

After Boone, we went to Ames to Veenker Memorial Golf Course.   This course is the home of the Cyclones and very neat course.   It has many challenging hole and since we only got to golf 9, we will go back and do all 18 some day.   

After golfing we ended our day going to Hickory Park for a little BBQ.  






10/26 we golfed Legacy.   We have golfed here before so no pics this time.  

Season is coming to an end but I'm sure we will get out at least one more time.
